Now the decade is ended and we are now working on the Global Action Programme (GAP) on ESD. The intention with this side event is to discuss how the RCE networks can support the GAP, and how GAP can support the progress of the RCE networks. The winners of the contest “Who wants to be a keynote speaker at WEEC2015?” are Marianne Krasny andPete Milne. Congratulations! Pete convinced the Committee by showing that he can reach out to the teachers. By representing the UAE he contributes to sharing experiences from this part of the world with the delegates at WEEC2015. Pete has a long experience within Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Development which we believe will be valuable for the audience. Marianne convinced the Committee by making a very nice, understandable, well-structured and well-articulated video, where she in a good way connected to the themes of WEEC2015.
